Welland, Ontario, CA Program Description As a fitness and health professional, you actively promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and develop healthy eating and fitness programs for clients. HIGHLIGHTS: Gain an understanding of how the human body and how physical activity and exercise can improve its function. Faculty are certified CSEP-CPT Instructor-Examiners through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Opportunities for students to provide fitness training to students in other programs (e.g. Justice). Significant applied learning opportunities gained in dedicated resistance and assessment labs and over 150 hours of practical work experience in two field placement opportunities. Graduates may challenge nationally and internationally recognized industry specific certifications
